Guest guest
Anyone using plastic reusable plastic drinking bottles, it might be useful to check the number at the bottom (in the little triangle) of your bottle.. The numbers 1, 2, 4 and 5 appear to be safe (or perhaps just safer?) but those with 3, 6 or 7 appear to have the nasties in them (a-Bisphenol). In the USA, they still won't ban the use of them in spite of levels of a Bisphenol but in Australia they appear a little stricter. Xooma X2O water bottles, flash looking lemon yellow coloured water bottles sold for use with their little sachets of healthy minerals, contain the 7 in the little circle. In other words, it contains a Bisphenol and one will ingest this poison which leaks into the contents of the bottle. When you google for a-Bisphenol you will find plenty of articles.
