I am waiting for my X Factor Butter Oil to come in the mail. I am also

starting on a high dose of HVCLO. I also bought a bag of xylitol

(powdered) to start using. But in order for the xylitol to work, so I

have to consume it in any particular way or can i just add a tsp to

some tea 3 times a day?

Thanks

Angela

Take it any way you can. Start slowly and increase up to 4 slightly rounded teaspoons per day to be sure there is no loose bowels and to build up body tolerance.--- On Mon, 9/8/08, Angela <angelahadaustinoct1 wrote:

I was recently looking at xylitol's profile as I have ordered it as a substitute sugar for my brother who has inoperable Oesophagul Cancer and found some reference to brain cell damage? Any thoughts?Kindest Regards Dawn AltoftMargaretta House

There is no such study that I can find. Like all alcohols and sugars, overuse can cause brain damage - and xylitol is a sugar-alcohol.

Your body actually makes about 50mg of xylitol a day and this makes it an orthomolecular substance with very low risk. The fact that it is not metabolized by the human body causes the wholsale excretion of it, making it less likely to be problematic.

I believe this issue was started by a medical doctor claiming to be an alternative medicine practitioner who does promote another "safer" product. Of course this is just my opinion and I could be wrong. But I have used it successfully in many clients for nasal allergies, cavities, and urinary tract infections.

Other doctors suggest that xylitol may be the best thing to come along for treating osteoporosis--- On Tue, 9/9/08, dawn altoft <dawn_altoft wrote:
