A knat flew up my nose today. I have blown my nose several times, but

it feels like it's gone higher. It feels like it's lodged next to the

nasal bone right about level with the bridge. It's driving me nuts.

With hurricane Gustav knocking out all the power down here, my Dr's

office is closed. I don't want to go to the ER.

Do any of y'all have suggestions to debug me?

Thank's y'all.

yes very simple : a nasal saline spray get at any drug store for a few dollars at most. You mentioned no power so worst case, if you have a turkey baster, fill it with water and inject the water into the nose or syringe of some sort. Simply turning your shower head upwards into your nose is also an option. Minus the turkey baster I have done all these to elevated mucous build up during colds, I have used a nasal sucker ball (usually used for babies) basically the same idea as the turkey baster.Good luck no real worry it is certainly not cause for the ER as you will probably contract something much worst there. Your body will handle the removal of this little pest in a few days it is more a matter or annoyance.magnoliarouge47 <magnoliarouge47 Sent: Sunday, September 7, 2008 10:43:12 PM Knat

Do you think it is still alive? If so, you can get a very bright

light and shine it up your nose, and hopefully the gnat will come out

towards the light. That happened to my father once, although deep in

his ear. A bright light lured him out.
