Guest guest
Health and politics are so intertwined that I am afraid you have lost track of it and accepted it as being normal. As an example coming to mind: vaccinations. Aspartame. well, I think there are a few people in this group who are well aware of how this came into the food chain. Ever heard of the Rumsfeld syndrome? Guest guest
I say very very little but read at least 80% of what is written, our world today is very complex and everything affects us today like no time in history. Peoples opinions and information are worth reading whether or not we agree, I for one am interested in what all have to say, if the subject line doesn't interest me, then I delete it. But don't deprived me of making that decision on my own. We already face that problem with our government, do we need it from our neighbors as well. Let the Public Speak. Guest guest
Firstly, I would say that there are many people in this group who are not American, and who find American politics, peanut farmers, B rated movie actors, sex maniacs, and lying evil people all quite childish and boring. I suppose the people who write this political stuff believe that the results are not totally predetermined! And they are not aware that it is all designed to keep us occupied with trivia, while the world goes to hell in a hand basket. Health is ALL about taking conrol of oneself, irrelevant of what others say and do. There is no government preventing people from receiving the five things necessary for good health 1) Good diet 2) Sufficient sleep at the right time. 3) Sunshine 4) Exercise 5) Love So, I agree. Let's keep the politics out of it, and all agree never to mention ANY politicians again! Peace be with you David -

Would be rather ironic since even Americans don't have a say. Guest guest
Taking care of children, ANY child, be it born or NOT, has everything to do with health, EVERYTHING. It needs to be protected and spoken for when that child can not. It has become about politics in our world but it is not, it is about protecting life and honoring it. Reminds of the saying on some t-shirt I saw on a BABY..... "My Mom (and Dad too I guess) believe in Pro-Choice NOW that I am here" Obivously written for not only pro-choice but for absend deadbeat dad's. Just to give you some background on my strong feelings here... I myself had 8 abortions - the first one at 13 because of my step-father's incest. It was deemed a "therapeutic abortion" at that time. I had to go to California with my Mom to get it. She told everyone I was raped by a neighbor.... I have two beautiful amazing children. I have two beautiful grandchildren. In rape and incest it is the answer, I agree. But please not as a form of birth control and pure laziness and igornance. Not in our world of knowledge and available birth control and education. Not today, there simply is no excuse. I'm not saying it is a black and white issue. It isn't. Life isn't! I am a bit of both pro-life and pro-choice...but for the RIGHT reasons when it becomes necessary...incest and rape. And yes, it needs to be acceptable to steralize a man and a woman when they start being irresponsible and deadbeats! Our planet is bursting at the seams already and we think to all take more responsiblity on ALL LEVELS, this is just one of them and we are trying to find our way to do that...part of it has everything to do with health and healing, this is one of those. Don't silence me or anyone for their believes. You then become part of the problem and not part of the solution....we don't need that. We've witnessed that for too long. I don't care who is in government, we as the people need to speak up and become part of the solution! Guest guest
Thank you, You said it better than I ever could have! I totally agree with everything you are saying, and your awesome for saying it and standing your grounds.Health has everything to do with politics and our children. I am sorry for what happened to you when you were young, But I am a strong believer of the words that "what happens in life happens only to make you stronger", and "God wouldn't give you anything he wasn't sure you could handle". So yes, I am with Pat in saying "Amen to you" Shannon:)Pat Patelos <ppatelosTo: Sent: Thursday, September 4, 2008 11:08:03 AM Re: Politics are getting bad on this list again AMEN!!!!!!! to you and to David.Pat Patelos , Jude Johnson <jjskinguru wrote:>> Taking care of children, ANY child, be it born or NOT, has everything to do with health, EVERYTHING. Guest guest
Oh yeah, and I don't understand what all the fuss is about. If you don't want to read the emails it only takes 1 second to hit the delete button and get rid the ones with topics you don't want to read about. So what if we want to debate about certain things..Its good to be in a group like this. Pne where you can discuss certain topics like abortion and what not, you learn alot more, and sometimes it just makes you feel better to tell someone your veiwpoint on the topic and get some input back. I know that I dont have anyone else to talk about these kinds of things with ( not willingly anyway other than my friends on this group, and it makes me feel alot better when i am done. When we are happy and feel good our health is better...right? So whats the big deal. Its as simple as hitting the delete button, or if its that bothersome remove yourself from the group. Sometimes i just think people like to critiseze others and argue, but it seems like that would take alot more energy than just hitting a button.
