Guest guest
If I ever get headaches I always take the homeopathic remedy Natrum Muraticum 30C with good results - I usually take only one dose a day for a couple of days, since homeopathy is one of the safest way to treat people it might be worth trying, and Washington Homeopathy seem to be a good company to buy from if you are in the US - unless you have a local supplier, Just make sure your daughter is not constipated - that is the quickest way to get headaches. Guest guest
Is she taking magnesium? Vitamin B? Stick to the basics. Guest guest
Try upping her protein. You can find lots of great sources of protein (quinoa) without having to use animals products, but animal meat works too. , " itsabouttime66 " <itsabouttime66 wrote: > > My daughter is 16 weeks pregnant and is getting migraines alot. Guest guest
Oops, I also forgot to mention peppermint oil. Buy a very good grade oil, such as Young Living and apply a drop or so to the forehead, temples and back of neck. Also, breathe in the vapors. That's usually works instantly (and I'm pregnant too). , " itsabouttime66 " <itsabouttime66 wrote: > > My daughter is 16 weeks pregnant and is getting migraines alot. Guest guest
All humans must have some form of meat protein in their diets since meat protein contains some very essential vitamins that you can't find in a vegetable protein. If you are sticking to a vegetable diet, make sure that you are supplementing with the proper minerals and vitamins. Josephine , " mommy2threelilboys " <mommyon731 wrote: > > Try upping her protein. Guest guest
Have her eliminate all sugars (including artificial and high fructose corn syrup). Eliminate wheat. Migraines are sometimes related to celiac disease. google " migraine celiac " Carol , " itsabouttime66 " <itsabouttime66 wrote: > > My daughter is 16 weeks pregnant and is getting migraines alot. Guest guest
I had this same problem in my first tri with my daughter. My midwife said it was hormones and would pass then she so kindly informed me it was most likely a girl. Well they did pass it was a hard 1st tri, a lot of rest, water and organic foods to elimenate as many toxins as possible. There are many things that I used to help relief but never could stop them, #1 acupuncture, then in no order: peppermint oil smelling it, most health food stores offer a product to rub on your temples for headach relief this is great also. Warm tea's but mostly TONS of rest. Good luck let her know this will pass while rubing her head.itsabouttime66 <itsabouttime66 Sent: Tuesday, September 2, 2008 12:10:32 AM pregnant My daughter is 16 weeks pregnant and is getting migraines alot. Guest guest
Yes. I certainly did. I do not really believe in a lot of those wives tells about determining the sex of the baby. My midwife was a wonderful women and she was not really far out with a lot of her opinions but this was very interesting. She said it has to do with the diff hormones the baby introduces to the mother. The person that was talking about the mag/ calc was right my midwife also recommended that to me sorry I forgot about it. I really hope you find some relief at least, it will pass. Guest guest
Hello, I had such migraines pregnant and not pregnant, but they started then.I could not find anything to cool them down, and my Dr. mentioned an herb called Fever Few. I got me some, and it nixed my migraines. I just take one when I feel it coming on, and drink a warm cup of tea. It works and won't hurt the baby. Good luck,it really works. It is had to believe that God created this world and us humans, and would not put a cure or remmidy growing from the Earth to heal us? It's Fever Few. dlizabeth -- In , " itsabouttime66 " <itsabouttime66 wrote: > > My daughter is 16 weeks pregnant and is getting migraines alot.
