Guest guest
THis week I saw a display in the local pharmacy advertising CoQ10 for "people who take cholesterol lowering drugs - which as you may have heard can increase the body's need for CoQ10" which I found either enterprising or some major consortium covering its backside. And there were so many birds around - this morning a lyre bird almost hit the car landing less than a meter away on its erratic flight - parrots, blackbirds, tiny wrens, all busy in the early morning misty sunshine. Yesterday corellas and magpies fought atop a 30m lightpole, wallabies ran across the road and huge black cockatoos disappeared into their trees in search of pine nuts. Across the road from my property sheep amble in green grass and rows of hyacinths in baby colours perfume the air. Spring is nearly here but the plants have already bloomed, bulbs finished flowering and only the trees remain bare bursting with bud. Guest guest
Jane, Lipitor and other statins work by inhibiting a certain pathway in cholesterol systhesis.... BUT at the same time, along that pathway they also inhibit the production of CoQ10, which is absolutely necessary for the human body. The manufacturers of statin drugs knew this when they first made their products and therefore took out patents for a dual drug combo of statins with Q10...... which they have never made available to the user. Neither did makers tell patients, doctors or pharmacists of this potential danger. Ken and I take Q10 daily and have done for years BUT refuse statins. Guest guest
" Neither did makers tell patients, doctors or pharmacists of this potential danger. " Yes, the manufacturers did not tell doctors about the potential danger of COQ10 depletion BUT never never assume that doctors don't know about this danger because MOST of them DO KNOW but keep their mouths shut hoping that the public doesn't find out. Criminals all of them. Josephine , " Clares Primus " <mcharris wrote: > > Jane, Lipitor and other statins work by inhibiting a certain pathway in cholesterol systhesis....
