Guest guest
I have a small bump on my nose that has been itchy for years ( I know it doesen't sound good) anyhoo...I have use bloodroot on it twice to draw out whatever it is and it has drawn out some clear tenacle looking stuff- there is a small dent in the area it drew the funk out from- but the little bump is coming back right next to it- I can not afford to go to the dermatologist- I just wondered if anyone out there has ever used bloodroot before? am I doing something wrong? or can I just keep using it untill the bump goes away? Yes, I realize I will have a bigger dent, but I think it to be the lesser of the two evils-- I did spend most of my youth in the sun. Guest guest
It took two weeks of nightly application of raw apple cider vinegar to make my son's wart fall off. Guest guest
Ok guys. I am a skin care therapist (for 30 years), a educator for many years with several major skin care lines worldwide and with a high level of chemistry behind me. The skin on your face is very different than the skin on the rest of your body. The exposure of your face is by far higher than most of the body. Given that, anything that you put on your face is going to have a reaction, some good and some not so good. For something described in this persons's need sounds like it should be able to be handled with some remedies. Drawing agents..such as the black salve mentioned (Dr. Christophers) or bloodroot would help, as used. But not knowing what is causing the problem you run the risk of creating bigger problems. IF you don't know if the base of this "spot" is cancer you have to be very careful with what you are doing to it. So until you are sure that it isn't cancerous and that you don't want to use the methods that tradional medicine provides (burning it off, using drugs to dry it up, etc) then and only then would I go so far as to start putting anything stronger or abrasive on it. Especially the nose...where most facial cancers end up beginning. I would look up skin disorders and compare your symtoms and appearance with those listed to start. Have it biopsied and go from there. jude andrea brown <mlsw532000 Sent: Tuesday, August 19, 2008 1:54:25 PMRe: Re: bloodroot or, wintergreen essential oil which is stronger then aspirin. Guest guest
LOL. the key is that the virus (warts are a result of a type of virus) are starved from oxygen, and 'sealing' it off with duct tape does exactly that. Guest guest
There are two kinds of black salve that I know of. One is called icthammol - made from the witch hazel plant (Hammamelis -don't hold me to the spelling of these items). This is related to Preparation H. Either one can be purchased in a drug store, Icthhammol was also called drawing salve because its astringent properties caused it to "suck" out splinters and topical infections. I believe the more potent black salve is bloodroot based --- On Tue, 8/19/08, andrea brown <mlsw532000 wrote: andrea brown <mlsw532000Re: Re: bloodroot Date: Tuesday, August 19, 2008, 7:14 PM hi june, what exactly is an aesthetician? my nanny used black salve to pull out glass, slivers, boils, you name it. at least i think that is what it is. heres what i remember. it stunk like tar, and left a temporary stain . she cooked it up on the stove. if it helps she was a creek indian. what is it? Guest guest
I work at a spa. Aesthetician is a facialist. I am also a licensed massage therapist. I get my black salve through generations. You can find it on Generations Black Salve. I do not make it and it does not smell. It is made from 4 different herbs. Bloodroot, sheep sorrell and I forget the other two. It has really worked for me many times. Especially the nose....where most facial cancers end up beginning. I would look up skin disorders and compare your symtoms and appearance with those listed to start. Have it biopsied and go from there. jude andrea brown <mlsw532000 >Tuesday, August 19, 2008 1:54:25 PMRe: [Health_and_ Healing] Re: bloodroot or, wintergreen essential oil which is stronger then aspirin. Guest guest
thanks alot, and thanks for not pointing out my writing style lol. Tony De Angelis <tntstuart Sent: Tuesday, August 19, 2008 7:29:27 PMRe: Re: bloodroot There are two kinds of black salve that I know of. I believe the more potent black salve is bloodroot based --- On Tue, 8/19/08, andrea brown <mlsw532000 wrote: andrea brown <mlsw532000Re: Re: bloodroot Date: Tuesday, August 19, 2008, 7:14 PM hi june, what exactly is an aesthetician? my nanny used black salve to pull out glass, slivers, boils, you name it. at least i think that is what it is. heres what i remember. it stunk like tar, and left a temporary stain . she cooked it up on the stove. if it helps she was a creek indian. what is it?
