Guest guest
I'm sorry for violating the rules of this forum as I only recently joined. Owning a herbal medicine business is an extreme uphill battle, and I believe the only way I can hope to succeed is by bending the rules. I consider myself a very moral person and place people's health in higher importance than rules. I am not the inventor of my company's products, and in the words of that old commercial, " I was so impressed I bought the company. " Thus, I can claim to not only to have witnessed how well the products work in myself but with others as well. I may be getting a bit off topic here, but I would like to mention a few of the problems I face. It's bad enough when most people in the US can't even conceive of my herbal products working because it does not fit into their belief system (my own mother won't even try it), but I receive little help from others who share my belief in the power of herbal medicine. I try to interface with others in the herbal business community, but they seem to think of me as competition to avoid. I also have to fight through all the noise from companies claiming to have herbal products for increasing the length of the male member, etc. Someone actually having a revolutionary product and speaking the truth is undifferentiated from this mess. I try to raise capital for my business, but regardless of claims or proof, the deck is so stacked against herbal medicine that people are loath to invest even once they believe in herbal medicine and effectiveness of my products. I cannot receive a business loan to fund clinical trials, because the company has only the products as its collateral. Without a medical doctor on staff or without a fairly significant bankroll, I cannot receive any small business loan or other government funding. People assume that there is an organization or government department one can go to to present a significant cure. However, researchers generally have their own agenda and are interested only in their own research. I put on a suit and tie and went to my local Alzheimer's Association and calmly claimed that I have a cure for Alzheimer's. They threatened to call the police if I did not leave. True story. Then, the people who should be my supporters and allies are disgusted that I make claims to the effectiveness of my products. Apparently, they dislike me flaunting the law and perhaps lending a bad name to herbal medicine and don't believe that I so believe in the importance of my products that I risk my legal (not to mention financial) neck. Since my products are made from edible, legal off the shelf herbs, they can be considered safe. The FDA claims the First Amendment right to freedom of speech does not apply to products under their jurisdiction. Regardless, I have a right as a citizen of the United States to speak the truth as long as it does not directly hurt anyone. And in the years people have used our products no one has come forth claiming to have been injured by them. I need your support as I go up basically single handedly against the medical establishment. Writing your legislators demanding massive reformation of the FDA including intrinsic rights for supplement manufacturers and herbalists likely will do little, since almost no lobby groups for herbalists exists. Much better is to support my company by purchasing our products and/or by investing in my company. By making available significant treatments for Alzheimer's and migraines, I poignantly demonstrate the dysfunctional nature of our overall health care system. Guest guest
You go girl...or you go guy, not sure of the name, so I can't say which! I honor your mission and plan on ordering your products. Already went to your website, emailed and am sending pics of my daughter and myself to you for analysis. Thank you for your honesty and commitment to bending the rules, that is what we all need in our lives in order to create healing and change!
