I'm not dr. betty, but I think yes, you should throw this away. All

it is, is an isolated part of the " real " vitamin C. That's what you

get when you buy vitamin C - ascorbic acid, which is made from corn

syrup and sulfuric acid. That has nothing to do with the real vitamin

C, which is a complex nutrient that is made from 9 parts. Ascorbic

acid is only the outer shell of vitamin C, so you create an imbalance

in your body by taking that isolated part.

Where does your body get the other 8 parts from so it can use that

isolated part? It will take minerals, enzymes and protein from inside

your bones, your tissues, your organs, to process this isolated

supplement.

Instead, eat an orange very day - or eat bell peppers - those foods

have the other " go with " nutrients included - the minerals, the

enzymes, etc. Your body can use it all, because it's food.

Let us not forget that Linus Pauling did all his early research on vitamin C using ascorbic acid, not food source vitamin C. There are better vitamin C supplements today but the point is, during any exceptional period of stress you CANNOT get enough vitamin C from food only. And let us not forget that we now live in a biologically hostile environment that puts us in a consistently toxic mode that is best compensated for on a daily basis. We cannot wait for a medically diagnosed disease to happen before we act. --- On Sun, 8/10/08, bluegreensolutions <bluegreensolutions wrote:

Dear Diana,

What I'm saying is all the aspartame experts I

work with say if something has aspartic acid in

it not to use it. I certainly wouldn't. If I

found it on the label I would take it back to the store.

All my best,

Betty
