Guest guest
I would say Hype in a Bottle!! For sure!! That company sure has a lot of people duped. Just like all the other expensive fruit juice drinks out there. Why can't people understand that it is just a bunch of fruit juice - at what, $40 a bottle? Preposterous!! Grape and pear juices are in there, 2nd and 3rd ingredient - cheap juices. And what's with the " Natural Flavor " - exactly what is that? If they have to add flavor it's probably far from natural. Plus - sodium benzoate and potassium sorbate??? Benzoates contribute to ADHD - don't drink this overpriced fruit juice!! Is it pasteurized? Eat fruit - EAT it, don't pay some company to juice it and preserve it for you. Guest guest
I agree and usually do not see the point of juicing good fruit. However, there are certain fruits that must be eaten immediately and if we want their antioxidants they must be properly handled without killing their enzymes. (In Mon A Vie, the acai is freeze dried and much value is lost) Non-multilevel marketing companies have learned how to do this and they supply exotic juices at a lower cost. Things like Mon A Vie are promoted by hyped up salespeople who are high on adrenaline from the prospect of big paychecks. This adrenaline makes them naturally feel better until payback time arrives.--- On Wed, 8/6/08, bluegreensolutions <bluegreensolutions wrote: bluegreensolutions <bluegreensolutions Re: MonaVie Acai Juice: Cure-All or Marketing Scheme? | Newsweek Project Green | Date: Wednesday, August 6, 2008, 4:42 PM I would say Hype in a Bottle!! Guest guest
Hi... I'm not in the monavie company but I do have a good friend who is an Occupational Therapist and claims drinking it did save her dad's life... and she is not a millionaire as her focus is a good product....these exotic fruits do provide nutrients that we do not get on a daily basis with the western diet....it is best to eat these fruits raw of course, acai, mangosteen, goji/wolfberry/ but how can we do that....I prefer capsules....a good idea to check out where one can get all of these combined in one capsule...... We do know if you check out the people of Hunza and those living in the Himalayas/Nepal area live very, very long lives because they do not have our diet nor drink our water which proves humans can live a lot longer depending on their diets..... We can find out what others have done to increase longer life and the following websites have wonderful information..... http://members.aol.com/qbanow/hunzab.htm http://www.know-the-cause.com/Shows/TullioSimonciniMDWithDougKaufmann/tabid/109/Default.aspx http://healthyoutcome.wordpress.com/ At this website scroll down to Fountain of Youth Discovered in The Most Remote Regions of The World which is exciting reading.....
