Target and many others support national service act ( the draft ) The Summit is being convened by the President’s Council on Service and Civic Participation in collaboration with the Corporation for National and Community Service, Points of Light & Hands On Network, Taproot Foundation, UPS, and USA Freedom Corps, and with support from Citi, the Committee Encouraging Corporate Philanthropy, and Target. For more information, visit http://www.nationalservice.gov. please boycott and call up theses companies and tell them what you think about it and that you will not be shopping with them anymore -------------------------------- Target employee talks about national service acthttp://jermainejustice.baywords.com/2008/08/01/i-work-at-target-i-dislike-their-support-of-national-service/ After doing some research I found that Service Nation actually supports the National Service Act. Do a little web search for these organizations, read some of their own site’s words and find something repulsive to anyone who likes freedom/liberty. The National Service Act would include a mandatory recruiting system for American citizens between the ages of 18-42. Did you get that? The Americans for a National Service Act is in favor of bringing back a draft that is to encourage more members for the military as well as many other government jobs. And we all know how well people perform at their no-competition, government jobs.------------------ If you wish to contact target and tell them what you think of the national service act here are their numbers CEO : Gregg.Steinhafel612-696-6234fax: 612-696-6325 CEO Assistant: Denise MayDenise.May612-696-6243 A boat-load of VPs : Bart Butzer, VP Stores: (612)-696-4968Christopher Perrigo, VP Target India: (612)-761-0613Doug Scovanner, EVP Finance & CFO: (612)-761-6610Janet Shalk, EVP Target Tech Services: (612)-304-5155Jodee Kolzak, EVP Human Resources: (612)-696-6111John Griffith, EVP Property Dev: (612)-761-1487Kathee Tesija, EVP Merchandising: (612)-696-6134Michael Francis, EVP Marketing: (612)-696-2822Mitch Stover, SVP Distribution: (612)-304-2787Stacia Andersen, President TSS: (612)-696-2856Tim Baer, EVP General Counsel: (612)-696-6648Tory Risch, EVP Stores: (612)-696-2476 via : The Consumerist
