Guest guest
Hi Doc, I wanted to share my political philosophy with you . I think you may find that it is simple but not "simple", clear, and that it gets to the functional point. I've filled in some of the elements of a few of the areas but as you can see they tend to be repeated... to a great extent. The political perspective of SOVEREIGNTY Individual sovereignty...the right to freely speak, learn, move about freely and safely, defend ones self, worship, congregate peacefully, learn, choose ones associations, decide upon ones health care, and live where and how one chooses to do so. Family sovereignty.... The right of a family to reside where it wishes to, to decide upon the educational choices for their children, to direct their children spiritually, to create boundaries of who they do and don't associate with for what ever reasons or no reasons without scrutiny of any sort, to choose to worship or not worship in what ever style they find to their liking, to move about as they please, to defend themselves , to define their home boundaries and secure them community sovereignty.. the right of the community to make local laws, to decide upon the nature of a school system, to define its own legal boundaries and juristictions, to enter into agreements of common benefit with neighboring communities, to have the RIGHT to not be annexed, etc State sovereignty..... National sovereignty.......Here I will simply stipulate that absolute right and responsibility to define and secure by what ever means necessary their borders, to have and uphold a national language, etc.... church sovereignty....... to determine ones own form of worship as a community so basically sovereignty /self rule is IT. It is found on these levels and perhaps one may add another one or several. as we look at various candidates I believe that we can judge their relative fitness to one another by measuring them and comparing them in these areas of how they relate to sovereignty. It cuts through a lot of "fog" Mike
