This is awesome.

I'm gonna copy and paste it and print out a few for my friends and

family.

It really got me thinking about how I'm not as prepared as I should be.

Definition: Disaster - A disaster is that which has not been

prepared

for.

 

Survival Survey

This Survey is intended to make a person look at being prepared for

whatever may come down the road. Just put Yes or No.

 

 

Food:

 

Do you have at least 3 months worth of food stored in the

pantry

or cellar???

 

Do you have a garden???

Do you have a way to cook your food if the power goes out???

Do you have a camp stove and plenty of fuel for it???

Do you have: hand powered blender? meat grinder? grain

grinders?

Solar Oven???

 

Water:

 

Do you have at least 6 months worth of drinking water???

Do you have rain catchment connected to your roof???

Do you have a stock tank and a gravity water supply???

Do you have a stream, creek, spring, river lake or pond close

by???

Do you have a gravity water purifier or distiller??? (Aqua

Rain,

Katadyn, or British Berkfield)

 

Shelter:

 

Do you have a shelter or underground place to evacuate to???

Do you have a root cellar???

Do you have a tent???

Other ___________________???

 

Power:

 

Do you have an alternate source of power???

Generator???

Solar Panels???

Wind Power???

Water Power???

Defense / Hunting:

 

Do you have: A couple of good knives with a sharpener???

Do you have a bow and plenty of arrows???

Rifle???

Shot Gun???

Defense Plan???

Exit Strategy - Evacuation Plan???

Gunpowder, flints, caps, bullet molds, Animal Traps, etc. ???

A place close by to go hunting???

 

Medical:

 

Do you have a well stocked First Aid Kit???

Medicinal Herbal Remedies such as Garlic, Echinacea, Cayenne

etc.

Curved needle for stitching up wounds???

Alcohol and Peroxide???

 

Garden / Livestock:

 

Do you have any land??? Can you grow vegetables, fruit on it???

Do you have a 2 year supply of seeds???

Livestock - Chickens, Rabbits, Goats, etc. ???

Do you have enough food for your livestock???

Do you have fruit trees handy???

 

Money or other exchangeable Medium:

 

Are you prepared to have your paper currency worth nothing???

Do you have exchangeables such as Gold, Silver, Copper Coins,

extra Food, extra Coffee, Cigarettes, other tradables???

Are all your savings in the bank???

 

 

Community:

 

Are you a member of a group that is prepared for emergencies???

Are you a member of a self sufficient community???

Do you have a Survival Group Location you and your family could

easily get to in case of emergencies???
