If you read between the lines, push aside the fluff, it is obvious we are in the middle of a severe recession right NOW! Job loss can be catastrophic on a family. When a person looses his "work", it seems as if his reason for living, his purpose for living, is severely blunted, and confusion sets in. If this happens to too many people, chaos will become the order of the day. To listen to the major candidates of the up and coming election, you'd think we were talking about a tea party the way they temporize on it all. If it weren't so sad, it'd be ludicrous. It is just too obvious that Clinton, Obama, and McCain are in it for the power, and couldn't give a rat's ass for the American people. Society is an interconnected activity. Don't for one moment think that the Economy isn't connected to our present wars being waged in the Middle East, or the plummeting Health Conditions here in the US and abroad, or the social unrest around the World. It is. Data: Click on the above link and check out the News Article on the Economy. Solution: Plant a garden. One of our list members (Cory Brennan) is part of a Co-op in which one of the purposes is to introduce Permaculture techniques to urban situations. This is a very worthwhile project and needs backing. Something like this could make the difference between surviving and starving to death. While the Internet is still up and running NOW is the time to network with others to get these kinds of projects happening in your area. Make sure you plant some medicinal herbs like Garlic, Cilantro, Turmeric, Onions, Echinacea, Cayenne, and Lobelia in this garden of yours. If you live in the city, do some roof top gardening. Connect up with local schools and start the kids on these kinds of projects. Kids LOVE these kinds of projects, and it's a great excuse to get them away from the TV which only rots their minds. Go for a drive in the country and make friends with a farmer. Better yet if you have a little cash, form your own Co-op and get a couple of families together, buy a little acreage, and start your own plot. Get creative, do it for fun. But plant that garden. Yours in Knowledge, Health and Freedom, Doc PS. I believe that the Mojave Academy School in the middle of the wilds of New Mexico is now hiring. They are also into self sufficiency, and doing things in a natural way. Anyone interested in more information on their programs, and their phone # can contact my son Bryan off list at: BryanShillington He'll put you in touch with them.
