You are not out of line by bringing this to my attention.

Remember this: The best defense is an awesome offense. DO NOT BACK

You need to get downright righteous about this and pull out all the

stops in confronting these suppressive idiots.

Find a lawyer who'll handle the case gratis = free (lots of free

publicity and PR for him as well ;-) and sue them. Name everyone you

can in the law suit.

Write a letter to your local newspaper, with full particulars, and

garner all the public support you can. Start a public movement.

And pardon my language, make them sorry they ever fucked with you.

You're not just doing this for YOU, you're doing this for the rest of

us as well.

As such, I'm forwarding this to our entire Herbal Remedies list,

including a couple of private lists I own so that others may contact

you for support with this if they see fit.

You also need to contact the Citizens' Commission on Human Rights.

They will help you organize this and may even help in finding a good

Lawyer. What city or town do you live in????? I'll look up the local

chapter's number for you.

This is NOT OK, and they are infringing on your God Given Rights.

If you will FIGHT this. One way or another, I'll be there beside you.

Anyways, I have a situation I need your wisdom and advice on.

The other day, Easter Sunday, my two boys ages 2 and 8 were horsing

around in the living room. The 2 yr old (Bryan) was standing on a

kitchen chair when the 8 yr old (CJ) came over and tried to pull him

off of the chair. Apparently Bryan's leg was stuck in the bars on the

back of the chair, CJ slipped on something (a plastic easter egg?) and

down they both went. I took Bryan to the ER because he was obviously

hurt. Turns out he has a spiral fracture to his left leg. You can only

imagine the mess I am in now. They said that spirals usually only

happen in cases of child abuse and xtreme sports. Considering the fact

that my 2 yr old isn't known to skydive or mountain climb, they went

ahead and called the police and the state took him from me for a few

days. It went from a beautiful Easter to... hell, for lack of a better

description.

 

Now I have a social worker due to come over to the house and

assess things to make sure that Bryan will be safe. My house is clean

and in order. I hid the dead body and meth lab kept in the basement

(just kidding). No but seriously, my husband and I are very much into

earth based religions so we put everything away that had anything to do

with that due to the horror stories that I have heard about people of

alternative religions getting their kids taken because they were not

christian. But then I got to thinking about the rest. I have shelf

after shelf of exotic herbs in the basement along with brewing

tinctures and herbal medicine books. My kids are not up to date with

their shots because... well I have my own opinion about that and it's

not a good positive one. There is nothing dangerous that the kids can

get into because the basement remains locked at all times.

 

I guess what I am asking is if you have any advice on this type

of situation. I read alot and some of it concerns people being

reprimanded in one way or another for not following mainstream

medicine. I never had a plan for this because I don't make it a habit

of beating my kids so was not expecting there to be any reason for SRS

to ever be in my house. I'm not trying to drag you into my personal

life, I just needed an opinion from someone more knowledgeable than I

in both child rearing and herbal medicine. They have also brought up

the notion that perhaps Bryan has ADHD and needed therapy and medicine.

This is from a woman who has never seen or spoken with Bryan. He is

rowdy and obnoxious... I thought all 2 year olds were.

 

Anyhow, thanks for reading this and I hope I am not out of line

for bringing this to you for an opinion.
