Guest guest
Dear Robin, You should do your due diligence on this. Some of the best places I've found to purchase Gold and Silver are at: http://www.kitco.com/market/ or my personal favorite: http://www.scpm.com/ I get the best prices from Southern Coin in Louisiana and have been dealing with them for years. Can you help guide me in what to do? Thanks! Robin
Guest guest
Dear Robin, My advice on this is to keep them as "Untouchable Reserves". You can sell them if you wish, usually from the same place you get them. Just to be on the safe side with those coins your Dad gave you, go to 3 different coin dealers and get 3 different quotes. If you have one or three that's worth a lot from a Numismatic viewpoint, then sell them to the highest bidder and immediately convert them to bullion. The idea is to have them for a rainy day and as proof against inflation. Gold hit over $880 the other day, and Silver hit over $15.75. These are going up and will continue to do so. There may be some slight dips in the future, but these will be temporary. If you were to factor the true cost of each, Gold should be around $3,000 to $4,000 an ounce and Silver should be around $200 an ounce. With the American dollar inflating the way it is, these prices are going up too. One day in the not too distant future we'll see a reckoning with this. BUTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!! Do NOT do this as a capitalistic investment. I don't tell you this so you can make a PROFIT!!!!!!!!!!!! I tell you this so that you can survive the rough times ahead. And not only are they coming, they're already here. Yours in Knowledge, Health and Freedom, Doc Robin wrote: Hi Doc, Ok, so you buy the coins, then what? Save them away for 5 yrs , 10 yrs, then sell them? Who do you sell them to? How do you know how much they're worth? What do you look for in buying, or do you just buy whatever? Thank you! Robin P.S....I have some coins my dad gave me when I was a kid. How can I find out what they're worth? ~Robin -------Original Message------- Doc Shillington Date: 12/27/2007 10:55:56 AM herbal remedies (AT) Groups (DOT) com Subject: Re: Investing in Gold and Silver Dear Robin, You should do your due diligence on this.
