Guest guest
Michelle, I agree that protein is very important and I'm glad that you mentioned it. Except that I don't know the metric system; how much about is 80 grams? The almond butter sounds good; I buy that myself. I gave her gingerroot tincture as well as gingerroot pieces for tea. I think if she does these few things, it should relieve the acid stomach and low blood sugar. Thanks for your input, Sanandra regarding morning sickness- make sure she is getting enough protein- 80 grams daily for pregnant mamas. Almond butter as a late night snack or first thing in the AM can help, as well as frequent protein rich meals. Ginger tea is helpful, and safe in pregnancy. Protein is a biggie, though. Guest guest
Hi Kris, The best for Morning Sickness is the following: 1. Peppermint Tea (a mild handling and if not working go to #2 and #3). 2. An all Alkaline Diet = raw Fruits and Veggies is best. 3. Ginger Tea or just suck briefly on a piece of raw Ginger. Ginger is the absolute best I know of for handling nausea of any kind, including Sea Sickness. Guest guest
Hi Kris, This is not an area of great expertise for me, and I suggest you just roll your sleeves up and do some major research on it yourself. Pound on Google to find those with experience in this. Then email and call those who have, and pick their brains to no end. If it were me, I'd take this one apart with a fine toothed comb. If your child has + blood and you’re negative—you need the shot to assure that your NEXT pregnancy is okay. The shot keeps you from building up antibodies that attach the next fetus if that child has a different RH factor than you. The shot has nothing to do with the current birth. If a midwife told you, you didn’t need the shot without blood typing the baby---Well I just can’t imagine the medical negligence on that one…Unless something has radically changed since I gave birth— herbal remedies [herbal remedies ] On Behalf Of Doc Shillington Thursday, November 29, 2007 11:51 AM herbal remedies {Herbal Remedies} Re: Morning Sickness Hi Kris, This is not an area of great expertise for me, and I suggest you just roll your sleeves up and do some major research on it yourself. Guest guest
Anella sent in this one. Love, Doc PS. I've never heard of this group, but would appreciate any other feedback on it. anella wrote: Kris, Please allow me to suggest another Group called Crunch Christian Mama’s. These are natural living, home birthin’ mama’s and they would make an invaluable resource for you as many of them have addressed “the shot” issue. (they are the ones who pointed me to Doc).
