Guest guest
Dear Valinda, You bring up some excellent points. As long as the "break" is simple, I'd say your idea would work just beautifully. However, if it were compound and needed pressure in order to keep it straight, the cast would be the way to go. Medicos don't like to take chances and think that most people are too darned stupid to know they need less activity with these things so they cast everything that falls under the "broken bone" category. If it were me and it truly was a simple fracture or just a partial break, I personally would insist upon continuing to use a splint just so that I could continue using the DTR Oil and some Hot & Cold Therapy on it. This would dramatically speed up the healing. Dramatically!!! I look forward to getting those pics and the Success Story. :-) Hugs, Doc Valinda wrote: Hey Doc...my best friend broke her leg just above the ankle this past weekend. They put a splint on it until the swelling goes down and she has an appointment on Friday to have a cast put on. We were talking about it and both feel like the splint would be better for healing than a hard cast. That way she can unwrap it, massage it with oils and such and get better circulation...as well as SCRATCH AN ITCH....what do you think? I already gave her your information on BF & C formula....but how would she rub that on with a hard cast? Thanks...Valinda P.S. I have a good story to tell you about your herbal first aide cream with pictures I'll be sending in a couple days.....
