Guest guest
Hi Diane. Good to hear from you. The problem with putting it in a water pick is if the water pick has rubber parts, washers, seals etc. the tea tree oil in the Tooth and Gum can eat up the seals. They say you can rinse the water pick real well after each use but I'm not convinced that it will get all the oil off and save the seals. I brush my teeth and rinse my tooth brush and my mouth out before bed. Then I put about 8 drops of Tooth and Gum on my wet tooth brush and brush my teeth again. Then I either swallow or spit out the formula and do not wash my mouth out or eat anything. This way the Tooth and Gum can work all night. The way you are using it is also fine. Wanted to know if you would think it would be advisable to use in a portable waterpick? I travel extensively, and this would be convenient. I know, put it in distilled water and swish around..
