SB 513 is dead, I'm told. 'The way forward'

In conversations with several senators and their offices today I've been assured that SB 513 is dead.I have yet to confirm with the bill's sponsor, Mary Kay Papen, that she will not attempt to revive it this session, but do know that she told Senator Kernan this afternoon that it needs work. I am awaiting a call back from her office to determine for absolute certainty exactly what that means.She could, at this point, attempt to untable it and revise it. So until I hear from her that she is not going to be doing that this session, I'm not ready to sign the death certificate. But it looks like others on the Public Affairs Committee already have.I'll send out a note to this list once I've heard back from Senator Papen. Due to commitments this evening, I probably won't be sending that update until tomorrow.
