Dear Jude,

I've not heard of Breast Feeding causing this before, and frankly I just don't believe it.

At 2 and a 1/2, there is no reason why you don't "start" weaning your baby, but I've heard of moms nursing up until 3 and even 4 in certain areas of the world. This choice is yours, but it might be recommended. You need to look at this.

My Tooth & Gum Formula would most like help dramatically with this, and I'd recommend you try it.

I notice below where you say, "doesn't have a lot of sugar snacks etc. . . " but you don't say "NONE" ;-)

What some people call a little could look like a feast to another, and I'd recommend absolutely NO and I mean NO sugar snacks or any foods that contain sugar in them for your baby whatsoever.

He may also be getting too many acid ash foods in his diet which would cause a weakening of his calcium structure throughout his body. This entire subject is fully covered in my second Lecture entitled, "Nutritional Secrets and Lifetime Health". I suggest you order this from the office at the number below and start applying the nutritional concepts in it to not only your little one but the entire family. I've straightened out more people's arthritis, osteo, bad teeth etc. problems by fixing their acid / alkaline ratio. Acidosis, unbeknownst to about 99% of the Medicos out there is responsible for over 80% of every disease and debility out there.

Hope this helps.

baby bottle decay

Hi there! My 2 1/2 year old has decay on his front four teeth and the dentist says it is frombreast feeding through the night. Many of my friends who have also nursed theirbabies through the night have not had this "baby bottle decay" with their kids. There must be other factors. My son drinks water during the day (chamomile tea, juice or rice milk occassionally) and doesn't have a lot of sugar snacks etc. La Leche League doesn't believe that breast milk causes decay at all - it is a hotly debated topic I guess. The dentist wants to scrap away the decay at 6 week intervals for many months and give topical fluoride at each visit. We haveavoided fluoride completely, but now I wonder if the decay is serious enough that my son's teeth could actually benefit from the toxin?Does anyone know what I can give my 2 1/2 year old to help the situation? I've heard that coQ10 is good for teeth and bone - is there a child's product that I could put on his teeth or in his water etc?Thank you very much!Julie

Well done Fern for nursing all your children.

I believe that gives them such a good overall start in life.

Good choice on the porcelain instead of the mercury.

Yes acidosis is a major issue with regard to health.

Doc's 2nd lecture is devoted to explaining this in detail.

Very valuable information.

Glad you are enjoying the group emails.

RE: Herbal Remedies - Re: baby bottle decay

Hi Doc,

I nursed my 1st child for 9 ½ months then she got chicken pox, my 2nd child for 3 years, and my 3rd is currently still nursing at almost 18 months. They were fine. My oldest didn’t have a cavity until she was 6 years old. I then opted to have the porcelain put in instead of silver “mercury” fillings. A note, my 1st child is the one who had the most cavities! Interesting about the acidosis, I’ll have to look into that.

Thanks for all of the group emails as I don’t always check the messages.

Fern
