The Celtic Grey is good, however the Himalayan is the latest gimmick on the market and is inferior. The Haitian is best with the greatest amount of trace elements. We prefer it way over the Himalayan sea salt. We've watched the video on how Celtic Sea salt is is gathered in France. Fascinating video and Celtic is a great salt - no question. Several years ago an analysis of Celtic Sea salt was compared to Haitian sea salt and the mineral content was higher. We tasted both, compared the mineral content, tasted the Haitian salt (we had already been using the Celtic for years) and decided to switch. The Salt and Grain Society, who is I believe the main supplier of Celtic Salt in the US, told me they were going to carry it and verified (perhap inadvertently) that it was even a better salt. The report I got was that they had gone to Haiti and were very impressed with the salt and they told me they were going to be carrying the Haitian salt. We have had numbers of people tell us how much they and their children love the Haitian salt. Next time you place an order with us, why not try one? We sell it for $8 a pound and because it is so loaded with minerals, it is very strong. A little goes a long ways so a pound will last a long time.
