Dear Barb,

There really is no set amount here and this is why the confusion has spread so rampantly.

You need to listen to your body here. There are far too many factors involved.

IE:

1. How much fruit do you eat each day???

2. How many veggies??? cooked??? raw???

3. Do you drink much herbal tea???

4. Do you do any juicing???????????

See where I'm coming from on this.

I drink only a little distilled water each day but am as healthy as a horse at 61 years of age and run 5 miles a day. etc. etc. blah blah blah. But I also take in enough organic veggies and fruit.

But most importantly, I listen to my body. When it is thirsty, I give it only distilled water or an herbal tea.

The only difficulty here is if you are very toxic.

Then I'd recommend cleansing and only the purest of organic fluids along with distilled water.

Your's in Knowledge, Health and Freedom,

Doc

water question

Dear Doc,

Much has been written about the benefits of drinking water and using a high quality sea salt in conjunction. My water is good old fashioned well water and its pH is 7. I've read articles in which the author/s recommend drinking 1/2 your body weight in ounces spread out throughout the day with 1/4 tsp. of sea salt added to each quart (32 oz) of water. For myself that amounts to 2 - 8oz. glasses, 5 times a day (total 80 oz). I've also heard it said that some people have actually died from drinking too much water (not in contests). I'm now thoroughly confused. I'm wondering what your recommendations are for water consumption. Thanks. Barb

Re: Herbal Remedies - Re: water question

"Listen to your body". My favorite mantra.

Dear (insert diety of choice) I am so sick and tired

of all the dogmas!

Health is not rocket science. Bad stuff out, good stuff

in, shake your booty now and then and think good thoughts.

OK, I simplify.

I am on a well too. Tastes great, though it is pretty hard.

Every now and then we (or rather, my husband) has to empty

the hot water tank to get rid of a thick layer of calcium deposit.

The chickens love it, so I don't worry about eating calcium.

Right now in a very snowy winter I find warm herbal tea a lot more

appealing than water. According to the water dogmatics, tea

doesn't count. I find that really hard to believe.

I'm not sure if Berkies are effective against flouride. Have you looked

into reverse osmosis?

You could try the dehumidifier thing. You could also try collecting rain

water.
