Guest guest
Dear Melody, Black Strap, like Honey for the most part is timeless if it is kept in a sealed container. If it has been opened and was subject to bacteria, etc. it is possible for critters to start growing on it. This is how they make the best nutritional yeast ;-) The only way to tell is the taste test. If it tastes OK, I'd be willing to bet it is. I'm asking you because I thought that you certainly have moreexperience with molasses than others might, so I thought I would ask.I have some unsulfered black strap molasses that I've had for someyears. The bottles have no expiration date on them but I'm wonderingif unsulfered black strap molasses ever goes bad....or is it like rawhoney...timeless.If it does go bad; how would you tell? Thanks in advance.Melody
