Many have offered to help with the moderation of Herbal Remedies, and I appreciate the offer, but I've already put in the steps necessary to permanently change the list. IE. All the policies have been removed etc. All my mods are personally trained by me (Apprentice Herbalists) in person, and actually apprenticed under me for a period of time so that they could consult and directly help others. As time went by, each one got busier and busier and slowly stopped helping with the moderation, and meanwhile the list continued to grow and grow and the chore became greater. There has also in the recent past been many posts and suggestions that were (to be blunt) were not OK and contained a lot of false information. Each question seemed to require an answer from a Moderator and it got to be just too much. The way it is now, there will be no more side trips into Goji, Mangosteen, etc. ad nauseum. The funny thing is that when I made the above changes permanent, about 25 people left the group en masse and these just happened to be the ones who were promoting these other products and other modalities=very interesting. Anyway, the bottom line is that we will now be using the list as a via for getting the correct information out to one and all. And as an aside, the list has continued to grow at the rate of about 25 new members a week. The few who've left didn't even make a dent. Sooooooooooooo, again, I appreciate your offer to help moderate, but things will stay as they are for the nonce. I do appreciate your concern and your loyalty and will always take you into our consideration when passing along data and making future changes to the list.
