Yes, Allene.

Maple syrup is yummy.

I think it is very concentrated, heated and therefore I use it sparingly.

Raw agave is something I'd definitely consider if I believed it was really raw.

You could never have raw maple syrup because of the boiling process used to boil off the water and thicken the syrup.

Raw honey is best in my book as I said yesterday.

Your idea of shaking stevia powder in a jar with a little water is a good one.

Sounds like you are referring to the white powder.

Might work with the powdered leaf; however, you would have a particle consistency as a leaf will not dissolve.

I think you will like the taste of the leaves much better.

RE: Herbal Remedies - Sugar is Spooky !!

Maple syrup is a great sweetener for lemonade. And agave nectar is a tasty alternative to sugar as well. When I use stevia powder, I always put some in a jar with a little water and shake it to make my own liquid. I find that the powder doesn’t mix well either unless I do this. But I also don’t like the taste much—especially if I use too much. I’ll look for the leaves.
