Good Herbal Book Recommendations

Hello-

I am new to this list, so forgive me if this has been discussed

before. I am looking for excellent books that have information about

herbs and their usages. My guess is there are many many books out

there, but being on a budget, I am looking for perhaps the top 3 that

would be good to have as far as herbal identification, what the herbs

are used for, and herbal recipes. I hope this is allowed. If not,

please let me know. Thank you very much for any suggestions. Betty
