Guest guest
my little 5 years old grandson has difficulty speaking. He can hear, understand and communicate with others but can not express himself by talking. ------ This may not be the answer you need at all but, have you tried any speech therapy? If there is a speech therapist available to you you could take him for a visit to get an opinion. There might be some speech helps you can find online to practice with him if you search for them. When my 3 year old would/could not speak words we started with just learning to say O and then to consistently say NO instead of head shaking. I would give him plenty of opportunities to use the word no. ) ie- Do you want more peas? Do you want to quit playing now and take a nap? I had 2 children that had 2 different causes for late speech and lazy speech. A speech therapist helped tremendously! Brenda
Guest guest
this sounds very much like my daughters verbal apraxia. In her case it was caused by her SI disfunction and made worse by imunisations. I have a nephew for whom this was caused by imunizations.
