Guest guest
A friend of mine and I have recently bought some MSM supplements....I was doing some online research....and need to do some more of course...but there was one site that stated that if you emptied the contents of MSM into a glass of warm water that any fillers would rise to the top and the MSM itself would sink to the bottom...it also went on to say that it is best if the source is from the US (which this particular brand states that it is formulated and distributed in CA)..etc...also note that this is distributed in a glass amber colored bottle.... We did a little test and opened a capsule of the particular brand that we bought that claims that it is 100% pure MSM...1000 mg...it says that the only 'other ingredients' are magnesium sterate, gelatin and water... The strangest thing happened...we did this with a temp over body temp, hence warm, and in a glass container...the powder did not sink (not any of it).... it floated...in addition to that it created somewhat of a 'skin' on top of the warm water....so I am curious as to what your knowledge/thoughts are on the subject....they would be greatly appreciated! Guest guest
Many of your MSM sources get theirs from Rich's which is a major manufacturer. They then add fillers and whatnot from there. I get mine from Richs but don't mess with it further and sell it as I get it. I don't think Richs will sell directly to the public but many health food stores carry their brand or you can order it from me or another Organic Solutions outlet. Best bet is your one pound cannister of pure MSM powder.
