Guest guest
I have not posted ever before but a little while ago somebody posted about severe sinus issues and since I " fixed " myself I thought this must be my cue. I can tell about my experiences with the medical establishment and what I finally did myself. I quit smoking. And drinking. And moved to Houston. (extremely high humidity and dirty air) Those three factors ... and a head cold... I think.. were what started the sinus thing. I was sniffing all of the OTC stuff (I don't know if I can name 'em here but you know which ones I'm talking about - all of 'em) I was also taking acetemeniphen and ibuprofen and aspirin and anything else for the sinus headaches. All day. I knew this couldn't go on. This might be a little graphic but I believe it can be helpful. After getting no relief and my snot was turning GREEN and smelly I finally went to the emergency room as I had no insurance then. They gave me a very strong antibiotic (it was not a " cillin " ) It almost worked but it came back with a vengenance. They then gave me more antibiotics... (the antibiotics game when they can't cure you). Then they suggested maybe surgery to cut away the bone and widen the sinus cavities. The doctors at the VA love to try stuf on you. At that point I had a divine revelation. I realized two things. Honey is extremely serile and will not infect my sinuses (anymore than they already were anyway) Honey will " draw " out infection. I mixed raw, unfiltered honey with distilled water and put in a squirt sports bottle and squirted it up my nose. VERY PAINFUL!! And left it there. All day. Around about 4pm that evening at work my nose all of a sudden clogged up violently. Something " broke loose " and fell into my throat from the back while I was talking on the phone. (I had a phone intensive job.) Having a wad of tissue anyway.. I spit a big hardened wad of greenish-yellow and bloody WHATEVER into my snot tissue. Whatever it was had broken loose from the back of my sinus passages into my throat. My nose bled for a while but I kept stopping it. I went home and did the honey thing again. Remember honey is EXTREMELY sterile. The honey DISLODGED the hardened ....snot? The next morning I irrigated and cleaned out my nose with salt water. Then I used a cayenne pepper and eucalyptus spray for a few weeks. Voila!! Sinus problem GONE. For good. Sometimes it tries to get started. Salt water and maybe some peeper spray and it's gone again. I don't know if I can give the website where I purchased the sinus pepper spray. But I hope this helps somebody. Q
Guest guest
Thank you for posting this. I have this exact same problem. Totally disgusting. I have had this for almost a year- already done all the anti-biotics. Will try what you say. Don't know about using a sports bottle I am quite the wimp. Maybe something smaller?? Guest guest
Hello, This is great information, if you could break down the ingredients, of how much need of each, etc that would be helpful. If you could remember the website that would be great to, or email personally if you're afraid to. I have had sinus issues most my life. I find drinking (2 each day of) 1 to 2 teas of Organic Apple Cidar Vinegar in 8 oz of water, helps to clear mucus out of my system. I hear its very high in potassium. There are many health benifits of vinegar. Any other advise on Sinus Issues is appreciated. Thanks again! cw herbal remedies , quinnten wrote: > > > > I have not posted ever before but a little while ago somebody posted about severe sinus issues and since I " fixed " myself I thought this must be my cue. Guest guest
One thing that causes a sinus reaction is drinking water or other drinks with ice. Drink only room temperature water and notice the difference. All-new Mail - Fire up a more powerful email and get things done faster.
