Guest guest
I have a friend who recently emailed me and said she would be offline for awhile. She is having eye problems. A process known as Macular degeneration to one eye now the other eye is going the same way. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Guest guest
From what I understand. Macular Degeneration cannot be reversed. However it can be halted. The medicos have something they inject into the eye (OUCH!) that has varying success. However alternative medicine is a little less painful with better success. 1) Eyebright Formula 2) Lutien and Lycopene (The best way to get lycopene, is to eat lots of tomato products cooked with some olive oil). 3) Natural carotinoids (carrots, dark colorful fruits and vegetables)"Dr. Ian Shillington" <DocShillington wrote: Can't beat my EyeBright Recipe in the Files. Guest guest
From experience, my mother-in-law has macular degeneration and has had both eyes operated on over the past several years and now is almost blind. The first time with the one eye the Dr. really did a rotten job the other eye she took a trip to a highly recommened specialist and the operation turned out that it did someone help, but in most cases as I can see now that the operations really aren't helping. Unless someone knows of a known case where it has improved the eye site. My honest opinion now is I feel that she would have been better taking the natural way and avoiding the operations completely. This is why she is aprox. 90% blind the rest of her life. Donna,Pa. > > From what I understand. Macular Degeneration cannot be reversed. However it can be halted.
