I have noticed that several of my attempted posts on various topics

were not posted. I tryed to share with the group members specific

sources(books,magazines, & other sources of info.) and methods for self-

care, medical research, and reference. My medical knowledge did not

just appear in my mind. It took lots of education, reading,

experimentation, and an open mind. I believe everybody concerned with

self-care should have a basic library of orthodox and alternative

medical references. Most of the printed media on the subject are

garbage, even if they have a small amount of truth. What are the rules

I need to follow in order to not be censored. First, do no harm. Paul

That's just it, this is an herbal and natural group. Medico isn't considered Herbal or natural.

When I first joined this group I spent hours and hours reading the archived posts for information pretaining to me. Now you can do word searches in the 'Messages'.Below is the posted link page copied and pasted from the files.Doc's policy is one of the reasons I love this group forum. I do not trust statements that were not personally experiemced by the person posting as Doc points out: "as the field is rampant with bad information and downright lies.".The bold highlights are mine.LoveBobAdageyudiStaya Udanvti These are the Herbal Remedies General List Policies.

1. No MLMs (Network Marketing Companies) are to be advertised or discussed on

the list whatsoever.

2. No Herbal Protocols or Remedies are to be promoted on the list unless you yourself have personally tried those products and have had excellent results with these products. IE. No "Well I heard Uncle Ernie, that blah blah product was good for...". You must have personally tried the product on yourself or a family member to a successful result in order to promote or recommend that product or remedy. Once a topic has been opened as above, it is fair game unless stopped by a Moderator.

3. Under NO circumstances is another list or private message board to be promoted on this list. If you own your own list, go somewhere else to dig up membership. This list is not a recruiting pool. Any violation will result in instant Banning.

4. All members of all religious faiths are welcome to be members of this list and are allowed to post instances of Spiritual healing that they themselves have personally experienced. These are to be first hand experiences only. Again, once a topic has been opened as above, it is fair game unless stopped by a Moderator.

5. No member of any religious faith is allowed to promulgate their own faith. This is a herbal remedies and natural healing list. All religious dogma is OT (off topic). Spiritual healing personally experienced is the one exception to this rule. Any abuse of this privledge will be stopped.

6. Under no circumstances will any Religion Bashing, the criticizing of any Religion, or Flaming be allowed on this list. All members of any religion are welcome to be members of this list. Any violation of this rule will result in instant Banning.

7. Any Natural Remedy promoted on the list must be done so from the viewpoint of personal experience of the remedy that has been proven to be tried and true. There is too much false data out there as to what works and what doesn't and only those with a proven track record should be promoted and discussed on the list. Once a Topic is opened as above, it is fair game for broad discussion.

8. One of the basic goals of this list is to get rid of the tremendous amount of false data and false information on natural healing. This is no small goal as the field is rampant with bad information and downright lies. There is a lot of confusion and lack of coordination. Please help me with this for it is vital.

9. This list is Naturopathic and deals with all natural remedies and Nutrition only. Allopathic medical treatment and psychiatric treatment are extremely destructive to the health of human beings and promotion or discussion of such is OT (off topic). However, how to handle the destructive results of such treatment using natural methods is definitely ON topic.

10. All members may have and use a personal signature on the bottom of their posts to the list. This may include an e-mail address and/or a "personal" URL to their own website as long as no Herbal or Natural products or services are being sold on that site. Links to other e-mail lists are forbidden.

11. Only Organic Solutions, Inc. and Organic Solutions Associates may openly

advertise herbal products on list. These are people I've personally trained

and are top-notch herbalists. All other Herbal Advertising is forbidden.

Any violations of the above policies are subject to immediate UNSUBSCRIPTION and BANNING, depending on the severity of the violation and how many times the offender has been warned.

These are guidelines that are necessary to the smooth running of the list, and are themselves a natural way for us all to operate together in harmony.
