Body Balance Question

Hello everyone :)

I know I haven't been around much lately, but I recently completed the

TBC (Doc's Total Body Cleanse) and it was a wonderful, gross,

pleasant, and an ultimately " Worth it " experience... LOL! My partner

in crime and I are currently amidst a move to the Northern part of

Michigan, we finally found the perfect little farm house for us and

our critters... it also comes with 12 acres, against state land -

YAY!!! I SO cannot wait to escape the nasty city! We should be out of

here and HOME by the end of October :)

My question is this: I have been making my own Body Balance, and

noticed that with the home made stuff, every time I take it I feel a

bit nauseous for a while after... this did not happen when I was

taking the stuff I got from Doc... well, at least not as badly or as

often... Do you think that it's because I maybe used too much BWH

(Black Walnut Hull) tincture? It's not terribly unmanageable, but it

does make me feel sick for about an hour, and sometimes gives me bad

heartburn... Any suggestions?

Also, does the BB ever go bad? I made this batch up before I did the

cleanse, but got Doc's bottle FOR the cleanse, so the stuff I made is

about 2 months old... is this ok? I do NOT keep it refrigerated, as it

tastes bad enough at room temperature... LOL! I had it refrigerated

during the cleanse but have left it out the last few weeks.

Thanks for the help! Love & Blessings to everyone :)

Dear Raaven,

Glad to hear you made it through the TBC with flying colors. It is true one does get one's buttons flattened, when it comes to bodily noices, smells and idiosyncrasies. LOL

When you made your Black Walnut Hull Tincture, did you use ACV or Alcohol? This would make a difference.

The BB+ as I make it doesn't usually go bad, but a BWH formula made with ACV can and does over a period of time. Once we open a bottle at the cafe here in Clearwater, it goes in the fridge, so you may want to consider that option. Even on the counter though, it should have a shelf life of a few months.

Love,

Doc

Hi Doc :)

I did not actually make my own BWH tincture, but I got some from a

good source. What is ACV? I don't think the BWH was made with it... on

the bottle it only says anything about grape alcohol and filtered

water in the contents, so I am pretty sure I am safe.

I guess I will just have to deal with a tummy ache... LOL! It's not so

bad if I sip it through my morning TN, I have found, instead of

drinking an entire shot all at once, so that helps... thanks for the

advice! I'll probably keep it in the fridge, just to be safe.

I had the same problem with my last batch I made. I got my black walnut from Doc so I know that's good but boy did that bottle make me nauseous...I was looking at the bottles and my molasses where the first bottle I had said "organic" in big letters slanted across the front, this bottle said "backstrap" in the same letters across the same label--same brand and everything but I guess I didn't look closely enough. Bought it in the organic section and it was the same bottle although upon further inspection was NOT organic. I then bought some real organic molasses like i'd had before, dumped out the nasty stuff and remade it with that and this bottle is nearly gone and not one bit of nauseous. So, I can tell you that different molasses makes a difference too...
