Can the person who said about making a tincture with Brandy and Stevia,

that was me again :) I do not have recipes- I was taught and still use a method called "simpling". Which means i tincture One herb at a time. Usually in pint canning jars ( Im doing this for my self mostly and Not Commercial) Anyway fresh leaves slightly bruised to nearly fill the jar. Then fill the jar with Brandy or Vodka doesn't matter really. Cover the jar tightly and leave set in a dark place for about 6 weeks- shaking and turning upside down about 2-3 times a week. I generally put the finish date on the jar somewhere so I don't forget. Once finished strain out the herbs - cheesecloth is a bit loose but unbleached muslin works great for this purpose- then squeeze all the precious juice out of the herbs into your strained tincture. Add stevia to your own taste and then bottle the tincture. ( I will warn you that feverfew is one of the foulest tasting herbs on the planet) How much to use ? Thats pretty much up to you - 2-5 drops seemed to work for me depending on the severity of the headache. Experiment to find your optimal dose. I could feel the headache subsiding immediately so it was easy to know when I had enough.
