I know this isn't exactly herbal but more of a health concern. We will be getting a spa in the next couple months and I was wondering if anyone can tell me how you would go about treating the water WITHOUT chemicals? I do not want to be in chlorine, or any of the other toxic chemicals when I try so hard to stay clean and cleanse. I saw a system online called Eco One that uses all natural but wondered if anyone has one or a pool can give me any ideas, hints or advice...thanks a bunch!

They actually tested colloidal silver for this. THey dumped 700 ppm ecoli etc

in a pool treated with colloidal silver. They tested after 6 minutes instead

of the usual several hours for chlorine and there wasn't any left. That is

what we are going for in our hottub.

I was thinking about silver but my son is allergic to it. If I give him colloidal silver his ears turn bright red, hurt to the touch and he has allergy symptoms. So I guess it would have to be something without silver. Too bad too because I make my own and it would be really convenient!

The spa will have a ozone cleaner thing so the amount of chemicals would be reduced but still i'm looking into something else--I want NO chemicals. This is very difficult.
