Guest guest
Growing catnip has been easy but unpredictable for me. It grows a clump which seems to last 2 or 3 years, then it blooms and seeds real heavy and that clump dies completely. But...just a few feet away are one or two catnip plants coming up that Fall or next Spring, purely "volunteers". As I go about my business, I spot the volunteer catnips, dump some water on them occasionally, do very minor weeding, and those clumps grow and thrive for a few years. I know the uses catnip is supposed to have, and I make tea with it many times a year. But I can't really say that I notice any effect on me, whatsoever, from drinking even the strongest hottest tea from it. ..
