Guest guest
I used to buy horseradih root at Wal-Mart but I never see it there anymore. Winn Dixie has it sometimes. Their roots are probably not organic though. In an emergency(severe congestion) prepared would work. In a previous post I had forgotten to mention how well raw horseradish, raw hot white onions, raw garlic, raw hot radishes, and cooked or raw hot peppers work at draining the sinuses. I buy firm horseradish root with minimal bruising and no mold. I wash it, peel it, and grate it with a cheese grater. I mix it with yogurt and I now have a horseradish sauce. I make it fresh each time I use it. Tastes great on roast beef and beef brisket.
