Hello everyone.

I just joined this group yesterday. I am Rena from Dallas TX. I am mom to four (A 4year old boy, 3 year old boy, an almost 2 year old girl, and a seven month old baby that I gave birth to at home UC) I am starting to learn how change my lifestyle to be able lose weight and be healthy. Sometime in the future I want to study to become a midwife. My husband has done lots of research on herbal remedies and even helped a friend of his get over years of allergies. We do have a collection of herbs. So anyway here are my questions....

I have had 4 kids in 49 months. I know I am depleted and I do not have the best habits in the world (coffee coffee coffee :-) ) I am also still nursing and intend to for a while. So what I want to know is what is the number one step that I should take to make myself healthier? In other words what habit should I first develop?

Another thing I want to know is I am needing to lose weight. So what is the first habit I should develop first to help me to do so?

Also I have several members of my family who are confirmed celiacs and lots of suspected celiacs. I have one child who I KNOW can not have wheat (sprouted is ok) and my youngest that I am breast feeding gets a rash anytime I eat wheat. So what I want to know is is there anything that I need to know in dealing with celiac disease besides no wheat? Any intestinal stuff I should do?

Anyway look forward to learning from all of you.

Rena
