Guest guest
Thanks to ALL of you that had suggestions about books for our daughter in law, there were some really good suggestions....I went to Amazon and ordered some and had them sent directly to her and our son. And yes, Jasmina our son is VERY open to natural methods of caring for himself and the upcoming twins.....BUT.....as most of us women realize, WE women are mostly responsible when it comes to our children and although we have a very close relationship with our son, that "fine line" of giving counseling or advice and being an over-involved mother in law are hard to keep defined. Together, our son and I nursed his 100 pound German Shepherd through distemper using only natural remedies and home care and I would have thought that alone would have convinced her of the benefits (and lack of expense) of using natural methods.....but to our amazement, she still thought he would have made it through being treated by a vet.....(even though the puppy that exposed him was treated by a vet and died)...so as you can see, I am up against a very strong-willed young lady (and her mother)....and I'm thinking the best advise is what Doc said....give her the information....and then just LOVE her and trust God to do the rest! Oh man...that means I have to be patient and quiet at times....TORTURE!!! LOL Don't you just hate it when your the one that has to learn something and grow as a human.... HA....Thanks again! Val....on with my training!!
Guest guest
Learning when to shut up is one of the toughest lessons to learn. :-) In Health, Freedom, and Love, Doc PS. I'm still learning that lesson. Guest guest
Yes you are right about that. It was very painfurl to learn that lesson. It is so difficoult to understand sometimes why people react that way even they see results, they always have some arguments against. But there is one good thing about all this many of them, that made fun of me 2-3 years ago, are on the same way now. I don't make any comment when they say: Yes, organic food is better (before theys said) Organic food is expensive, or they say : Is it anything to help me with my stomach pain, I took medication too long. I just smile and feel good. I hope you will feel the same soon with your daughter in law. Guest guest
And that shows me just how tough you can be. To hang in there knowing what you know and having the courage to say so. :-) Love, Doc Doc Shillington727-447-5282Doc - Jasmina Alisic herbal remedies Thursday, September 14, 2006 2:15 PM Re: Herbal Remedies - Good book for a newbie/Jasmina Yes you are right about that.
