I am a little, well make that A LOT perturbed! Like I said in a

previous posting, I am new to the world of Herbal and Natural

medicines, well I was reading the label on my kids Vit C yesterday and

I found out it has ASPARTAME in it?!?! What the crap do they need to

put that in there for??? So then I was reading on their multivitamin

bottle just now and the same stinking thing! Why on earth would they

put that in there, doesn't that cancel out the fact that it has good

stuff in it? And isnt aspartame a carcogenic agent??? Man what is a

person to do?

If the " vitamins " you bought contain Aspartame, they probably

contain alot of other artificial (chemical) stuff in them too. Not

just the " additives " , but I'd bet that the vitamins indicated in

them, are probably just synthetic versions, rather than food based

nutrients also.

If your kids need to supplement, you may want to check a local

health food store and purchase 100% Whole Food Supplements, which

are derived from foods, rather than the cheap synthetic stuff sold

in most drugstores and/or supermarkets nowadays....(which IMHO are

more harmful than helpful)

Or else look into the group files for recipes to make your

own " vitamin " formulas....

Hope this helps...
