Guest guest Posted September 10, 2006 Report Share Posted September 10, 2006 A few days ago I was reading something, either an email or a website where it was explained how produce was marked- the numbering system. all I can remember is that Organic produce had 5 numbers beginning with the #9. It was talking about GE products having 4 numbers I believe and non GMO having 5 but the non organic begin with the #8. I may have some of the details a bit twisted, but does anyone remember this or have a clue where to look. I've been searching all afternoon to no avail. I meant to bookmark that page, but either forgot or just can't locate where its marked, or it may have been a post.
