Guest guest
I keep various strong mints at the edges of yard. When I take dog for walk, I grab up a handfull of pennyroyal or calamint or even perilla or any strongsmelling herb, ball it up in my hands and rub it on the dog --generally in crotch and underbelly where the fleas like to gather. This seems to drive them off dog and into the alley as I start my walk. Later on, I comb the fleas out of dog's hair with a flea comb and dish of rubbing alcohol. I rake the fleas out and dunk them in the alcohol dish, do this several times a day, never takes more than 3 minutes at a time. Prolly killed several thousand fleas this year, already. Not to mention countless flea eggs. ..
