Guest guest
A little background - I had a seizure after hitting the back of my head when I was 25. I was put on phenobarbital for a year and all seemed fine. Ten years later I had another seizure. This time they put me on phenobarb and refused to let me go off of it. I noticed several health related problems like bad memory, lots of new allergies, exhaustion... I decided to stop taking any and all prescriptions. It seemed I was stuck with the bad memory and exhaustion. After 5 years of being off all meds my allergy sensitivity has diminished. Then I found this herbal remedies site I began eating a mostly raw organic food diet and noticed my brain(thinking) became clear and my energy level went up. Then, my brain produced a seizure. I used scullcap for a couple weeks to break the immediate cycle of the seizures. Next, I did the cleanse. I did have a few little seizures through the cleanse but took lobelia immediately which stopped them right away. It has been about a month since I did the cleanse and now I am having more seizure trouble. I have discovered that the lobelia stops a seizure immediately but has no long term effects. I can't take lobelia to stop seizures that might happen during my sleep because I woke up disoriented, on the floor, beside my bed, Tuesday morning and had bit my tongue (difficult to swallow or talk) and had a large scratch on my forehead where I fell out of bed during a grand mal. During the next day I tried to use lobelia. It stopped the current seizure but it did not stop the cycle of seizures. I still had them starting up every three hours which makes each one stronger. I also noticed that when I took lobelia to stop a seizure, it seemed to make the scullcap noneffective. I ended up using phenobarbital with scullcap to stop seizure activity during that night. It has been three days since I had the grand mal. I have been taking scullcap to control seizures ever since. Scullcap confuses me so I don't know what day it is but I have no idea what else to do right now. Love to you all, Monica
