Guest guest
I've been taking cinnamon for a while now and when I had myself tested not long ago, the doc said he noticed a good drop. When you take the cinnamon tho it has to be in capsules, something about saliva kills an active ingredient in it that helps you out.Shellini Spencer <shellini wrote: Does anyone know anyway that I can reduce my insulin levels? I have PCOS and I heard about taking cinnamon and vitex... any ideas? My advise is to pick up a copy of the book Protein Power or Protein Power LifePlan by Drs. Mary Dan and Michael Eades. They discuss the complete science of insulin and hyperinsulinemia (too much insulin), what causes it and how to reverse it, naturally with diet and supplements instead of drugs. (Though they are M.D.'s if you read their works you'll probably see they are pro supplement/diet over big Pharma's drugs). Their eating plan can be followed as a vegetarian or even a vegan. Yes it is more challenging, but quite worth it. By following their way of eating and supplement plan (I started almost 8 years ago) I (without drugs of any kind) reversed Type II Diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, high triglycerides, acid reflux, spastic cholitus, early menopause and obesity (I've to date lost almost 80 pounds of fat from my body). Even if you didn't follow the eating plan, it is a great course on hormones and how what you put into your body effects them. I also happen to be a big fan of their quiet way of speaking out against the established medical community (even though they are MD's instead of naturpaths they seem to think more like naturopaths). hugs, Willow Only when the last tree has diedAnd the last river has been poisonedAnd the last fish has been caughtWill we realizeWe cannot eat money.Cree Indian Expression Everyone is raving about the all-new Mail.
