I am in my 40's and have had extensive continual bleeding. The gyne

said it is because of the uterine wall thickeing & hormones. Anyway,

my only choice is surgical, a d & c. I don't feel my body is strong

enough right now and I wanted to know if there is an herbal / natural

choice.

She started me on progesterone to control the bleeding. I also have

asthma and am on albuteral inhaler, I quit using Advair last week. But

for the past week, my resting heart rate has been accelerating off and

on. This happened about a year ago and the doc said it was anxiety - I

had a halter monitor test, and it showed nothing. Of course I am

anxious about the day surgery, but not enough to raise my heart rate.

I am on Mirapex for RLS, but a minimal dose. My body is so confused

right now. Can someone offer advice?

Thank you,

Marie

If you are willing to do it, please contact doc because what I am writing is just from my reading, no experience on this what so ever. 1) For the asthma: (I do have experience on this one). take the following: a) If you are not caffein sensitive, try drinking 3-4 cups a day of coffee. b) Take a fish oil capsule and 6 (2 with each meal) of ginger root capsules and one capsule a day of Boswellia. 2) For the other problems, contact Doc because some foods have natural estrogenic activity instead of taking progesterone. 3) For both these problems, ORGANIC foods will help, also include organic brown rice once a day. 4) If you can, walk (you might have to build up to this) 45 minutes 5 times a week (fast walk, no strolling).

Doc,

I've read that Fresh stinging nettle juice is a hemostatic and has been used for nosebleeds and excessive uterine bleeding. Wouldn't this help both in this affliction and in the blood in the nose e-mail?

I am glad you stopped the Advair! My doc scripted it to me, but about a week later there was a report on CNN that said Advair was incorrectly tested [big surprise there] and could cause comas, death, and was a known inducer for attacks. Bad stuff!cmb1429 <earthbaby wrote: I am in my 40's and have had extensive continual bleeding. The gyne said it is because of the uterine wall thickeing & hormones. Is this thickening the beginnings of Endometriosis? In other words is the uterine linging beginning to spread to areas other than the uterus? If so then surgery may be in order here, unless someone knows of a way to reverse that naturally. Otherwise, if not, I'm sure Doc would have some answers for you and I suggest you contact him. hugs, willowcmb1429 <earthbaby wrote: I am in my 40's and have had extensive

Hello, I have experience in this because it happened to me. I found out I was anemic and my thryroid was almost non-functioning. In 4 months through food and alittle help from sythroid I am back to normal. Now I'm weaning myself off the sythroid. I bought a juicer the juiced my veggies. Lots of greens and beet. Took a couple of spoonfuls of coconut oil everyday, kelp powder and ate beef liver at least 1 a week. I also take some herbal suppliments. Since everyone is different you need to find what is best for you. I really believe in homeopathic doctors. I saw an ayrevic doctor. He was great. good luck kitticmb1429 <earthbaby wrote: I am in my 40's and have had extensive continual bleeding. The gyne said it is because of the uterine wall thickeing & hormones. I've been off the progesterone for 4 doses. My pulse rate is getting

better; not so many high rate attacks through the day. I still believe

the hormones had something to do with it. The warning on the pharmacy

label says it should be taken with caution in patients with asthma of

heart problems. Although my general doc and the gyne say it cannot be

the cause of the rapid pulse. Yesterday, my pulse reached 84. Today

I've been having more calm moments and I was able to get on the

treadmill today, which made my spirit feel stronger.

I still do not feel the surgery is in my best interest right now. On

Tuesday, I need to call the gyne office and advise them that I stopped

the hormones; if they don't like that I took steps into my own hands,

then perhaps she is not the right care provider for me.

I thank you for all your replies and support.
