Guest guest
Hello, I am new to the group and need some guidance as the Dr.s are telling me that they are doing everything they can for me medically and I am not getting any better, so I have decide to take matters into my own hand and need some guidance. I am 26 and suffer from Asthma, Allergies, Psoriasis, Psoriatic Arthritis, Chronic Ear infections ( I have had one since mid July now this time), Yeast infections from all the antibiotics that I am on. All I can think is that if I am like this at 26 what am I going to be like in 10, 20 years. I have started cooking with Turmeric as other people with Psoriasis have had some success with it, and I have started doing research into Herbal Remedies and am now looking at trying to figure out if all of this is also a food sensitivity. Any ideas of Herbal Remedies that would help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you Kindly Tracy
Guest guest
Hi Tracy ! One thing you could do right away is listen to Doc's lecture on line or call 727-447-5282 and we will send you a copy of his CD lecture free. Then if you like that one, you would call the office or go to the OrganicSolutionsStore.com and purchase the CD package that gives you transcripts and " the rest of the story " in CD #2. This data will help you answer many, many questions. I think you will really enjoy these talks by Doc. Also purchase and start taking our Total Nutrition green drink. These are some things you can do right away if you aren't already: 1. Drink only purified/distilled water. 2. Do not eat commercial meats or dairy - eggs, cheese, milk, butter. Eat organic meat and dairy in moderation. 3. Eat as many organic, raw fruits and vegetables as possible. Local fruits and veggies grown without chemicals are also OK. Then figure out when you can do some cleansing. Sounds like you need to do the Total Body Cleanse a time or two when you can arrange this. Well done on deciding to take your health into your own hands. Taking this responsibility is fun and rewarding. You will learn a lot about yourself and your body. Welcome to the list. Enjoy! ML, Valorie PS This may come across as a duplicate. I sent it once but it did not seem to appear. herbal remedies , " Tracy " <rhiamon2000 wrote: > > Hello, > I am new to the group and need some guidance as the Dr.s are > telling me that they are doing everything they can for me medically > and I am not getting any better, so I have decide to take matters into > my own hand and need some guidance. Guest guest
Tracy: I'm sorry to hear about your difficulties. I also have psoriasis, with occassional psoriatic arthritis, allergies, asthma, and ear infections, so I know what you're going through. I'm guessing that a malfunction of the immune system may be involved in some or all of this. I suggest the following: - Exercise daily, including stretching, weights, and cardiovascular workouts. If you can't run because of your arthritis, you might try an elliptical machine. Exercise has definitely helped me a lot. - Eat a healthy diet emphasizing lots of fresh vegetables and fruits. Eat more fish and chicken, and less red meet. Drink lots of fluids, with water being perhaps best. Avoid sweets, soft drinks, and alcohol. - Take a high-quality nutritional supplement containing vitamins, minerals, herbal extracts, enzymes, etc. - Try to relax and control your stress level. Consider meditation. - Get plenty of sleep, and sleep on a regular schedule. - Get second opinions for your medical care. Sometimes you have to keep trying doctors until you find one who comes up with the right diagnosis and/or effective treatment. - Regarding the turmeric, consider taking a curcumin supplement with piperine. I've obtained one from the Life Extension Foundation, and plan to try it soon. If you try getting turmeric/circumin from food, the amount absorbed by your body, especially without piperine, may be too low to be effective. I'm also currently looking into supplements which might help with arthritis, and will let you know what I find. - Be diligent in making these kinds of changes and be patient in waiting for results. It usually takes weeks to months for things to come back into balance, and then symptoms begin to improve. I hope at least some of this helps you.
