Guest guest
Very good point ! Our bodies can and DO tell us what it needs, we just have to learn to listen to it. And don't be afraid to go against popular opinion. When I was growing up we had pasteurized milk available, but it was not yet homogenized. When they began giving us homogenized milk is when I quit drinking it. My body didn't like the milk anymore it gave me cramps and a general feeling of ill health- Then a few years back I was introduced to RAW milk and guess what- I like milk again but it HAS to be RAW. Then there was the whole Tofu, soy era. I tried it, but my body didn't like it even tho the thinking of the day was that this was the best stuff for us. I refused - NOW I begin to understand why! And the current literature explains why I liked the MISO but not the TOFU. When my body warns me about something - I listen- it may be years before any explanation is forthcoming, but it has NEVER led me wrong. Now I need some advice. Due to the recent approval by the FDA for the use of VIRII to be sprayed on our meats prior to packaging. I have decided I will no longer eat Meat. How can I ensure that my Protein intake is sufficient to maintain proper health? I know about beans and rice, but that could get pretty boring. Is there another formula or substance ( forget the soy products) that I can use to keep things in balance? Short of moving to NZ where they don't allow such nonsense and the milk as ALWAYS RAW, Im just not sure how to go about protecting my health anymore.
