Guest guest
I have my own repertoire of herbal medicines, not sure if allowed to talk about them here. This will be the first time I actually grew the hot peppers. Once upon a time I was able to wildcraft almost all the herbs I used, but encroaching civilization and the dreaded asphalt and concrete have just about destroyed all my favorite hunting grounds. Now I either grow them or purchase wildcrafted organic dried herbs. In the meantime some already prepared tinctures have appeared on the shelves around here- when I first began there was almost nothing available - I still prefer to create my own. I do not sell my preparations, they are strictly for my own use. Essential oils is another matter- some day I may learn how to make those too, but for now they are purchased. I spent two years living in a tent traveling from one place to another, learning from the old ones as much as possible. Then once I set up camp here in CA - found an herbal school close by and continued my studies, went on herb walks, etc for identification. Studied medicine making from 3 different folks in those early days, read all the books I could get my hands on. Now I am constantly searching the internet for information - thats exactly how I found this group not so long ago and what a treasure this has been in my ongoing quest for learning.
