question on female formulas

Hi Doc,

I have a friend that is suffering from PCOS. I was wondering if the

various female formulas can be made into teas instead of tinctures and

mixed with DMSO, placed internally using a tampon? If I can do this,

how much DMSO would you recommend be added per oz. of tea? I am still

learning how use DMSO. If too much is added, could there be a burning

sensation, etc.?

Thank you ahead of time for your patience in answering my newbie

questions.

Dear Lori,

Thank you for your patience in my response. ;-)

What you suggest is a modified fomentation and would work very well.

Use the same herbs as in the Female Balance Formula, make a tea of these (1 to 2 cups), and add a dropperful of DMSO to this. Make sure the tampon is thoroughly soaked and then insert.

You may notice an itchy sensation but most likely will notice nothing at all.

Doc

Hi Doc, Instead of buying the herbs myself and making a tea, may I use the female balance formula tincture purchased online thru the organic solutions store and dilute it in water, add the DMSO and then soak it in the tampon? Dear Ornella,

Yes! This would work.

I love it when people get creative like this.

The thing about natural healing is taking responsibility for yourself and being able to think with the data you have. Obviously, you're doing this and this is great.

Keep us posted as to how it works.

Doc has lost it LOL he told me to write and say that he was nuts..

I won't say that b/c he is really an ingenious human being. However I

did ask him if he had any experience with using a wet tampon ?? I

did have to actually show him the concept of what happens when you

soak a tampon in liquid and did we ever have a laugh.. I am still

laughing..the conclusion was ( mine and Valories earlier when we

first read the posting) to use a Vaginal Suppository. You can mix

the Female Formula , DMSO ( both diluted) with coconut oil ( for the

fatty acid benefit)form into tsp size balls place in fridge til they

harden then use over night and during day.. You may want to be sure

to use some sanitary pads with this technique..other wise you may

need to buy new undies..

You will have to excuse Doc on this one , we are all on the TBC

(total body cleanse) here at Organic Solutions ( day 8), he said he

was feeling light headed today and under the influence of low

pressure from the Tropical Storm that just passed through..he's not

nuts just a little " out of it " don't worry we handed him the Total

Tonic. Now even better because today we pressed Turmeric and added it

to the blend... get in touch with us if any of you have questions

about this...

Tell Doc not too worry - I'm the one who should've known better :) Besides, I did do some thinking afterwards and came to the same conclusion about the tampon and actually was thinking a long the lines of a "bolus" - that is what you've described isn't it? I just wasn't sure how to go about mixing it - Although, would cocoa butter make more sense than coconut oil? You know, in combining and forming a ball? Also, in Doc's e-mail he mentioned using the Female Balance Formula and you've mentioned the Female Formula - organic solutions store offers both tinctures, which one do I purchase? and, do you offer DMSO? If not, would any health food store carry it? Thanks for all your help and good luck on the Total Body Cleanse and please tell Doc he's not nuts.....he's far from it. Ornellajoa6herbs

What JoJo left out was that we did the experiment in the middle of the office.

I haven't laughed so hard in a long time.

We have a couple of younger guys working in The Rabbit Hole (our attached Healthfood Cafe) and I think it was a little TMI (Too Much Information) for these young-uns which made it even funnier.

Anyway, sounded like a good idea at the time. ROTFLMAO

In Health, Freedom, and Love,

Doc

PS. OK, so back to suppositories and boluses. ;-)

I'm not worried. LOL We all had a great laugh here at the office.

Coconut Oil, Olive Oil and Cocoa Butter would all work in making the bolus.

Ideally, you'd want the Female Formula if there is any pain involved. The Female Balance Formula is a richer balance of the three main Female herbs (Wild Yam; Chaste Tree; and Angelica), whereas the Female formula also has Valerian and Passion Flower in it to help with pain. Either would be good for what you're intending.

An idea for you would be to use a couple of dropperfuls of the Female Formula along with a dropperful of DMSO to moisten the rest of the herbs. The best herbal combination to use with these would be the Total Healing Poultice Powder (recipe in the Files), use the Olive Oil or Coconut Oil as your main menstruum and form into little putty like bullets. Then put in the freezer to make hard and easier for insertion.

Hope this helps.

Doc has lost it LOL he told me to write and say that he was nuts.. I won't say that b/c he is really an ingenious human being. However I did ask him if he had any experience with using a wet tampon ?? I did have to actually show him the concept of what happens when you soak a tampon in liquid and did we ever have a laugh.. I am still laughing..the conclusion was ( mine and Valories earlier when we first read the posting) to use a Vaginal Suppository. You can mix the Female Formula , DMSO ( both diluted) with coconut oil ( for the fatty acid benefit)form into tsp size balls place in fridge til they harden then use over night and during day.. You may want to be sure to use some sanitary pads with this technique..other wise you may need to buy new undies..You will have to excuse Doc on this one , we are all on the TBC(total body cleanse) here at Organic Solutions ( day 8), he said he was feeling light headed today and under the influence of low pressure from the Tropical Storm that just passed through..he's not nuts just a little "out of it" don't worry we handed him the Total Tonic. Now even better because today we pressed Turmeric and added it to the blend... get in touch with us if any of you have questions about this...Best in Health JoanneOrganic Solutionsherbal remedies , "Dr. Ian Shillington" <DocShillington wrote:>> Dear Ornella,> Yes!
