Hey Doc: Blood pressure and garlic.

My father is on high blood pressure meds and he takes his pressure daily. It is always 140-150/85-90 (with the meds). Yesterday I made a dip for a burrito and it contained 1 cup sour cream, 1 chipotle pepper (in adobo sauce), 6 garlic cloves and a shot of olive oil. Food processed for 30 seconds. After eating a tablespoon of the sauce (about 40 minutes) he took his BP and it was 121/75. Just a note to say garlic is a versatile food and it can be prepared (raw) many ways.

I agree.

 

You can't beat Garlic and Cayenne.
